Roast Lamb Leg

Try this tenderness and flavorful roasted leg of lamb.

Ingredients

  • 1 (5 to 6 pound) trimmed bone-in leg of lamb
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper

Instruction:

  1. Pat lamb dry and make shallow cuts over lamb.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line aluminum foil on pan.
  3. In a bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, Dijon, salt and pepper. Spread spice mixture evenly over lamb, rubbing in thoroughly.
  4. Place into oven and roast about 1 hour 30 minutes for medium (an internal temperature of 135 F). Let rest 15 minutes before serving.
