Quick and easy way to make a Mediterranean walnut bread with a little honey or butter.
Ingredients
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• ¾ cup unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ¾ teaspoon salt
• 4 eggs
• ½ cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 tablespoons walnut oil
• 3 ounces chopped walnuts
Instruction
1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
2. Preheat the oven to 375F.
3. Beat eggs in a bowl, whisk in buttermilk and oil. Then combine the flour mixture and walnuts until no sign or flour block.
4. Butter on loaf pan and add in dough. Bake 50-60 minutes.
5. After it’s done, allow cool (10 minutes) in the pan. Then place pan upside down on a rack and to complete cool before taking it out.
