The flavorful orange glaze rubs into the pork loin makes an outstanding taste.
Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1 boneless pork loin roast (5 pounds)
Glaze:
• 1 cup orange juice
• 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instruction
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Combine the 5 season ingredients and rub over roast. Place fat side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour.
2. In a bowl, mix water and cornstarch until smooth, then mix orange juice, brown sugar, mustard and stir till dissolve. Cook the sauce with low heat and stir for 2 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of glaze and brush the remaining glaze over roast.
3. Bake until pork is 145F using thermometer, then continue to bake 20-40 minutes more. Brushing occasionally with the rest of the glaze (let stand for 10 minutes before serving).
