Baked scallops with butter and parmesan are delicious with the outside crispy and inside flavorful.
Ingredients
• 16 large sea scallops, (1 – 1 1/2 pounds)
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika
• 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
• 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
• 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
• 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
• 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Instruction
1. Dry scallops with paper towel and remove any attached side muscle.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
3. Mix the salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, panko, Parmesan, parsley, olive oil, and melted butter in a bowl.
4. Place the scallops into a baking pan, then dip with bread crumb mixture.
5. Bake for 15-18 minutes (or until the top is browned).
